The K1 program includes a comprehensive spring and fall dryland training program (including a Gymnastics program) which will educate and prepare these young athletes for the higher volume of on-snow training and racing. The K1 program follows the guidelines and recommendations as outlined by Alpine Canada for the "Learn to Train" and "Learn to Race" development phases.
Where, When and How Often?
The K1 program includes a June dryland training program as well as a fall dryland program that begins in early September. Optional add-on summer skiing and dryland camps are also offered for K1 athletes during July and August.

Sunshine Village is utilized in the early and late season for techncial freeskiing. Additional training will be offered at other venues as snow conditions and the race schedule warrant.
