4 and 5 year olds, born in 2006 and 2007
What?
The Mini Meisters half-day program is designed for the up and comers in the family who may have older siblings in our other programs. We aim to make the early years on snow both productive and FUN! Our enthusiastic coaches promote on-snow games and tons of skiing. The Mini Meisters program is a great start for your little rippers!
Where, When and How Often?
Mini Meisters train for half a day on Saturdays or Sundays at Nakiska
5 year old athletes who wish to ski in a full-day program should register for the NGI Program
Start Date: January 7th, 2012 for the Saturday groups; January 8th for the Sunday groups
Finish Date: April 7th or 8th
No training on Family Day Weekend
Morning Session
Start Time: 9:30am
Finish Time: 12:00pm
Afternoon Session
Start Time: 1:00pm
Finish Time: 3:30pm
How Many Days?
Mini Meisters train for 13 days
Where will we ski?
- Nakiska
How often will we race?
- Mini Meisters will compete in the Nakiska Cup and Wearmouth Cup races at Nakiska
- Mini Meisters will participate in the 'Coaches Cup' in-house fun races all season
Recommended Pass(es):
Nakiska season pass

Minimum Skill Level:
- Mini Meisters must have the ability to stop, turn and ski independently on green terrain (e.g. the Bronze Chairlift at Nakiska)
- Please contact the Program Director if you are unsure or have questions
Average athlete to coach ratio: 5 to 1 – all athletes will be grouped according to their skiing ability
Program Costs (2011-12 rates):
Per Athlete
Program Fee (includes all on-snow coaching) $450
Alberta Alpine Registration/Insurance $76
(Mandatory for all registered athletes, includes coverage for all training and races)
Per Family
NASA Family Membership $50

Training/lane fees (not including pre/post-season training)
End of season report
Year-end banquet (athlete only)
