We are back! After an abrupt end to our 2019/20 ski season, the staff of NASA and our member clubs are excited to be working our way through Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Relaunch Plan. While things will certainly look different this summer, we can't wait to see our athletes, parents and community supporters again soon.
We will be providing dryland training for our FIS, U16, U14 and U12 teams all summer long, in and around the Calgary area. We are working hard to implement safety precautions and procedures to ensure the health and wellbeing of our club members and staff.
We have not yet passed our 2020/21 budgets at each NASA member club and we don't have updated registration fees to release quite yet. In the meantime, we are continuing with our deposit based registration. Deposit amounts are:
Our deposit based registration is 100% refundable in the event that your family circumstances change over the coming months for athletes who do not participate in our summer dryland programming. For those who do join us this summer for training, your deposit will no longer be refundable once you commence in-person training with our staff.
If you are new to our community and would like more details on last year's program fees to gage a range of what our fees for this season will be, please don't hesitate to reach out via email. We are pleased to be accepting registrations from new athletes all season long. Ski racing is a great sport for social distancing - it is outside, we train in small groups, we don't share equipment and we are used to wearing face masks to keep us warm! We hope you will join us this winter and give alpine ski racing a chance to become your new favourite sport.
