The U10+ program is only for those athletes who are born in 2013 and is designed as a preparatory program for U12 where our coaches help the athletes transition from the Skier Essential phase into the Learn to Train phase. Our U10+ athletes continue to refine their skier essential skills while being introduced to basic, event specific skills. Athletes race slalom (SL), giant slalom (GS) and kinder kombi (KK).

Who: Athletes born in 2014 only.

When: Wednesday pre-season parkour training. Saturday pre-season dryland training. Saturday and Sunday, full day, on-snow program at Nakiska and Sunshine. Wednesday evening training at Winsport

Time: Warm-up begins at 8:30 am. Group departs for chairlift at 9:00 am and finishes their day by 3:00 pm with a group cool-down. Lunches are timed to reflect an appropriate break in training and may be held at mid-mountain lodge. The program requires some parents to assist with lunch supervision of all athletes.

Start: On-snow program starts Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Days Off: There is no skiing on December 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2023,  or February 17 and 18, 2024 to reflect holiday weekends.

Winter Break Training: There will be mid-week training during the school holiday. Schedule TBC.

Finish: The program finishes on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Athletes then graduate into U12 and participate in two additional integration camps in late April at Nakiska (weather dependent).

Team Fees: Contact us.

Fees Not Included in Program: Equipment, Lift Ticket, Race Entry Fees.

Refund Options: Please link to our refund policy.

Volunteer/Fundraising Commitment: Please review our Volunteer Policy. There is no fundraising commitment.
